WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF

Compas Charity

COMPAS was established in Peterborough in 2010 and become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in 2017.

Compas Charity is a vibrant, community-focused organisation dedicated to building stronger, more inclusive communities in Peterborough and beyond. We work with people of all backgrounds, offering support, education, and opportunities that promote integration, mutual understanding, and social cohesion. Our aim is to empower individuals, celebrate diversity, and create a sense of belonging for everyone.

We provide vital services including early years education, youth development programmes, adult learning, and support for families and older people. Through our projects, we aim to break down barriers, tackle inequality, and foster mutual understanding among diverse communities.

At the heart of our work is the Peterborough Cultural Centre, a vibrant new hub celebrating diversity, creativity, and intercultural dialogue. The Centre provides a platform for local artists, hosts exhibitions and events, and offers inclusive spaces for community activities and learning.

From frontline advocacy and policy engagement to arts, culture, and heritage initiatives like the Baripen Roma Archive, Compas is committed to building a fairer, more inclusive society, where every individual feels seen, supported, and able to thrive.
